GA(AR) Department is one of the most important department among the various department in the State. The main objective of this department is to bring reforms for better and brighter future of the State of Tripura as well as different types of development in the State and this department is continuously trying best to give a corruption free administration. 

There are 4(four) sub-ordinate wings under GA(AR) Department these are Vigilance Organization, Commissioner of Departmental Inquiries (CDI), Tripura Lokayukta and Tripura Information Commission.
